香港呢個小小嘅「非常」城市其實係一個高手雲集嘅地方，就好似吳安儀、傅家俊等等，仲有最近成為香港人嘅奧蘇利雲㖭！而今日開幕嘅世界格蘭披治桌球大獎賽仲會係第一個喺啟德體育園舉辦嘅國際體育盛事。你又會晤會入場支持呢？

Flying through the buildings
Nestled between towering skyscrapers and bustling neighborhoods, Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport was a marvel of aviation, renowned for its breathtaking approach.
Planes would glide low over the city, weaving between buildings before landing, an exhilarating spectacle that left passengers in awe.
For Stephen Howard, this vivid memory springs to life as he recalls sitting in the cockpit’s jump seat as a child, captivated by the vibrant energy of Hong Kong below.
“Hong Kong captivated me from the moment I stepped into the cockpit of a Cathay Pacific 747-400 to land at Kai Tak. As we soared through what felt like between the buildings, it was evident from the outset that this city offers a different perspective on all angles of life and is anything but normal.”

「龍舟運動是種非常體育，象徵着『非常港』的精神」
如果你問我要用一種水上活動去代表香港，我會毫無疑問地說出龍舟這個運動。龍舟運動有着過千年的歷史，除了代表着源遠流長的中華文化之外，也象徵着「非常港」的精神。
龍舟比賽最大的敵人不是其他隊伍，而是隊員自身的重量，只要克服了它，船便能逆流而上。那麼如何克服自身的體重呢？首先要有不服輸的心態，這種鍥而不捨的精神可以在比賽的氣氛中體現出來，鼓聲、呼叫聲和打氣聲此起彼落，要抱着「拼了所有，斷氣方休」的幹勁，才能推動龍船滑翔。
第二就是整個團體的整齊度，龍舟運動沒有英雄主義，這也是團隊裏的一致性和默契的表現，水花四濺，每一槳的角度和划幅都是從一而終。堅持對齊每一個細節位，永遠不放棄，直到衝線為止，也正正體現了香港人的精神。
這就是我這麼熱愛這個運動的原因，如此單純，但感覺很實在。你會在這個競賽運動中體驗到「非常港」的一面，不妨可以到海濱公園或避風塘欣賞這個「非常港」的載體。

Arbuthnot Road is more than just a street for Girish Jhunjhnuwala, the founder of Ovolo Hotels.
It’s where his family home once stood, rich with memories that shaped his identity.
Growing up in Hong Kong’s vibrant Central district, Girish was inspired by the lively energy around him, fuelling his passion for hospitality.
Today, Ovolo Central, the first hotel established by Ovolo, proudly stands on this cherished street.
This hotel serves as a tribute to his roots, blending comfort and local charm while reflecting the city’s dynamic spirit.
Through Ovolo Central, Girish not only honours his past but also invites others to experience the vibrant essence of Hong Kong that has always inspired him.

BeCandle於15年前由設計師Xavier曾首彥創辦，由一個人的小工作室到西貢街坊組成的小團隊，透過不斷摸索、實驗、到世界各地擺攤檔和展覽，和不同的本地、國際大小品牌合作，發展至今日擁有本地生產工廠和店舖的香氛品牌。憑着對香味工藝的熱誠和探索精神，一直保持着多方面的可持續發展模式，包運用可持續天然原材料、運作多年的蠟燭重注服務、以回收廢料如地盤泥土、工業咖啡渣滓、花墟落地花材、甚至退役電車零件再造乘香薰產品，至近年和志願團體合作建立生產線為有需要的低收入群體和需特別照顧青年提供工作機會。

According to Razlan Manjaji from SCMP Live, “Hong Kong is an events capital.” With a wide array of events taking place, people are increasingly seeking experiences that genuinely captivate them – the demand motivates event organisers to continually elevate their standards.
For Razlan and SCMP Live, this means incorporating unique and thoughtful elements into every event. These elements include high sustainability standards, inclusive panels, quiet spaces for neurodiverse attendees, and accommodations for nursing mothers, among other features.
Razlan has executed more than 30 events this year alone, proving that Hong Kong remains a vibrant cultural hub where diverse individuals gather, connect, and share ideas.
